Expo ’70 Commemorative Park

The Expo ’70 Commemorative Park was established on the site of the Japan World Exposition 1970.

These expansive park grounds are filled with must-see places. Natural Culture Park (green trees and flowers, traditional Japanese garden and a beautiful pond),
Also, there are various cultural facilities(National museum of Ethnology, The Japan Folk Crafts Museum, The Japan folk crafts museum, the EXPO ’70 Pavilion…) 

And the Tower of the Sun(the symbol of the Expo) was created by the artist Taro Okamoto.
You can’t miss seeing this! 

On weekends, a big flea market, various festivals and events are held.

Fee Natural culture garden / Japanese garden (common) / adult 250 yen, primary and secondary student 70 yen
Transportation Short walk from Bampaku Kinen-koen Sta. on the Osaka Monorail
